Fees & Funding
Our Stretched Offer
Bonnie Bear delivers its enhanced curriculum, including Forest School provision, through carefully planned group experiences.
Whilst the consumables contribution is voluntary, funded session availability is offered in line with our operating model to ensure we can continue to provide a high-quality, sustainable provision for all children and families.
Fees & Funding Information
Your funded hours are available during the funded term-time weeks. For 15 hours, this is offered as 1.5 days per week. For 30 hours, this is offered as 3 full days per week.
Stretched funding allows your funded childcare entitlement to be spread across 51 weeks of the year as we are closed over Christmas. Because the funding is spread across additional weeks, the number of funded hours available each week is different from the standard term-time entitlement.
Our Stretched Offer shows the number of funded hours available to you under each stretched funding option.
Our Enhancement & Consumable Contribution of £2.30 per funded hour supports nutritious meals and snacks, consumables and optional enhanced experiences alongside your child’s funded EYFS entitlement. Government funding does not cover the cost of meals, snacks, personal consumables or optional additional activities and experiences; therefore, these are not included as part of the funded entitlement. Families may opt out of these additional services and provide reasonable alternatives; however, any alternative provision provided must meet our relevant food, allergen, health and safety, and other applicable nursery policies, which are available on request or when completing our enquiry form.

You can use these funds to help cover your childcare costs. Just remember, you’ll need to reconfirm your eligibility every three months.
The government will send you a reminder via text message, and it’s really straightforward to do through your childcare account.
